HBLL Internships
The BYU Library internship program allows students to gain real life work experience while being mentored by a library professional. Full-time BYU students can be hired as an intern for 130 hours. The position is paid, and the hours are flexible. Students can often be matched with internship opportunities that relate to their interests.
Services
- Inspiring Learning Grants
Inspiring Learning Grants fund student-centered learning experiences that are deeply connected to the library’s services and resources or which provide inspiring learning in the discipline of librarianship. Projects are initiated by and involve a mentor from among current library faculty and staff.
- Special Collections Internships
Undergraduate and graduate level internship opportunities in Special Collections are provided to supplement and enhance student learning
- Special Collections Research Grant
- The Charles Redd Fellowship in Western American History
