The ASME Digital Library is ASME’s primary repository of current and archival literature featuring: ASME’s Transaction Journals from 1960 to the present; ASME’s Conference Proceedings from 2002 to the present; ASME Press eBooks selected from 1998 to the present. As the ASME Digital Library continues to expand, it ultimately will include the complete archive of ASME’s Transactions Journals dating back to 1880. Synthesis is a digital library consisting of hundreds of 50- to 100-page “Lectures”; a self-contained electronic book that synthesizes an important research or development topic, authored by an expert contributor to the field. The articles cover fundamental to high specialized topics and offer unique value to the reader by providing more analysis and depth than the typical research journal article. The library and its lectures are organized by series.
