2025 Navigation Update

We’ve refreshed the look and feel of our website! Below, you’ll find a quick overview of the latest updates to our header, navigation, and footer. These enhancements are just the beginning—we’ll be rolling out improvements to the internal pages gradually, so stay tuned for more.

Primary Features:

Small number one icon

To improve access to a wider variety of library resources, a horizontal dropdown menu has been added to the top of the page to replace the two vertical navigation bars previously used. Resources have been categorized into materials, places, experiences, services, and ask us.

To improve access to the library’s most frequently used resources, a quick-links banner has been added to the homepage of the website.

For quick and easy access to library hours on every page of the website, a ”Today’s hours” display and button have been added to the heading of the site. Clicking on the hours will pull up a menu with greater details about upcoming library hours.

To give feedback, report issues, or chat with a library help desk personnel, a floating help menu has been added to the bottom right corner of the screen. Clicking on the icon will pull up a detailed help menu.

To create better alignment with the BYU brand and other BYU websites, the library website footer has been updated at the bottom of the page and now includes updated links to appropriate library and university resources.
