Access the Collections
Using the library catalog
To find more examples of works by Reformation-era authors held by L. Tom Perry Special Collections in the library catalog, follow these steps:
1. Select “HBLL Special Collections” on the “library” drop-down to limit your search. To search the entire library, including electronic resources, omit this step.
2. Items may be found by searching for authors, titles, keywords, or subjects. When searching for authors, remember to construct your search using the “last name, first name” format.
Sample subject headings used in the catalog include:
- Catholic Church — controversial literature
- Reformation
4. Use the “limit your search results” categories in the box at the left of the results page to further explore by subject, theme, or genre.
5. You may also use tools found under the Advanced Keyword Search link to further limit your search by publication date. In the Advanced Keyword search window form, enter a specific date or date range in the “pubyear” field.
