  9. I’m interested in Adobe Photoshop. I’m familiar with some of the programs on this list, but it might be helpful to have a short description of each of them for those of who don’t know what each program does.
    Thanks!
    Betsy

  10. You can find the descriptions of the programs at:

    http://net.lib.byu.edu/courses/index.html

Click on the courses link at the top of the page and then select the course you want from the dropdown menu, it will then give you an overview of it.

  21. Thanks for covering our “rebirth”, Josh. The response to WJ from the library community has been phenomenal. We’re trying our best to do right by you folks and grow/refine our services to meet your needs.

I appreciate you taking the time to share the news with others in Libraryland.

    Cheers!

  22. I am excited about this discussion. The students are deep in texting and this would be a great way to get good resources within their reach.

  23. LIS has two prototype applications, one of which uses SMS to query the catalog. We’ve been pondering what types of SMS applications would be useful. Let’s get those interested in this together to talk. We’re setting up the skeleton of a mobile web page at http://www.lib.byu.edu/m .

  24. The mobile page looks great, Bill. Look forward to hearing more about this. If possible setting up an SMS query for account info would be cool. It would be nice using HBLLMobile to see when items are due on the fly. Renewals would also be great.
