March Meeting
March 5, 2008
For our Technology Learning Community meeting this month we are meeting on a different day and time to view the ACRL live webcast which will be a great way to learn more about creating short point-of-need videos for students and how to deliver them via RSS feeds.
Provided by ACRL and graciously funded by the library the live webcast will be on Tuesday, March 11th from noon – 2 pm and is tentatively scheduled for room 4826 (more information on exact room to come). This two hour session will explore screencasting—delivering screen captures via RSS—and its potential applications in the academic library. Participants will be provided with examples of screencasts, information on various software applications used to create screencasts, and tips for choosing content, preparing, recording and delivering a screencast.
We hope to see everyone there for this very interesting session.
