Welcome
Under approval of the BYU Board of Trustees in 1959 the Brigham Young University (BYU) Salt Lake Center was established as a satellite campus. Its primary purpose is to provide credit programs to individuals interested in self improvement. Although locations and administration have changed over the past 50 years, the mission of the BYU Salt Lake Center has continued to “support Brigham Young University by providing an excellent resource for credit programs within the Salt Lake valley to all who can benefit from outreach academic opportunities.” [1]
In August of 2007, continuing the tradition of academic excellence, the BYU Salt Lake Center re-located to the Triad Center, situated in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City as part of the Church Headquarters campus. In the move, a newly designed library was built to serve the information needs of students and faculty.
