BCC-blog Home Welcome Schedule Program Registration About

Registration Fees

The conference registration fee is $35 for the full day program on Friday March 27, 2009. This includes participating in four out the eight seminars available, a luncheon with a speaker and a unique printed conference keepsake.  Enrollment is limited to 125 participants.   Pre-conference workshops held on Thursday March 26th are $35 each.

The registration deadline has been extended to Monday, March 23,  2009.

There are 25 seats available for Friday’s conference; four out of eight seminars are full with the other four, two-thirds full.  Seats are available in American sports memorabilia, 20th century LDS music, Robert Burns & Scottish literature and World War I literature.

Perhaps you do not collect in these areas; however you will learn about differing collecting strategies, view and handle some exceptional books, expand your knowledge of print culture and even be enticed to change your collecting habits!  Finally, you are taking part in Utah’s only book collecting conference where you will rub shoulders with fellow collectors, institutional specialists and reps from the very best of Utah’s rare book trade.

There are approximately 25 seats left in Thursday March 26, 2009 workshops ($35 each).  See Forensics 101 Workshop (THREE SEATS ARE AVAILABLE within two sessions, 40 seats total), Illumination Workshop (TWELVE SEATS ARE AVAILABLE within two sessions, 24 seats total), and Bookbinding Workshop (TEN SEATS ARE AVAILABLE within two sessions, 24 seats total); all three workshops will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
