This year marks the six year for the conference which promises to be more unique, more educational, and even more social than ever before. The conference’s prior six seminar format has been expanded to eight, and the one pre-conference workshop has been expanded to three.

Conference goers may select four out of eight seminars offered. Each seminar will be seventy minutes long. Then add two breaks, morning and afternoon for refreshment and socializing; then add lunch with a wonderful speaker, and you have a delightful day of biblio-exploration!
Prior exhibit catalogs, fine press keepsakes, and some essential reference works for collectors will also be available during the conference.
When the demand for different sessions have been sorted out, each ADL instructor will be asked to present up to three times during the day. Each seminar holds between fifteen and twenty people; now times the second number by three and you get sixty seats (out 125 possible attendees). So register early to be assured you get the four top seminars on your list.
We added two additional seminars this year, hoping to satisfy every attendee’s interest, including four Mormon related seminars (see Crawley, Whittaker, Burrup and Whetten), two European literatures and history related seminars (see Kopp and Means), one Americana seminar (see Kimball) and one seminar on collecting strategy (see Saunders).
I have been speaking only of Friday’s program, before I close I need to mention Thursday’s pre-conference workshops, they include book collecting forensic 101 (how to identify undeclared repairs and alterations), the art of illumination and bookbinding. Workshops are available only for conference attendees, and in years past they have fill up fast, so register early!
