Lloyd Alexander was the author of over forty books including the well known Chronicles of Prydain. These books served as the base for Disney’s film The Black Cauldron. Alexander’s office will be recreated on level 4 of the library near the mural titled Come Now Let Us Reason Together by Michael Lehnardt which honors Alexander. On January 28th at 2:00 pm professors James Jacobs and Michael O. Tunnell will present Lloyd Alexander: The High King of Fantasy in the library auditorium on level 1. Following the lecture there will be a reception and tours of the Alexander exhibit.

Lloyd Alexander’s materials including his desk, papers, and manuscripts have been kindly presented to the BYU Library. These materials will be available for research by students and scholars.
