Joseph and Emma Smith’s Family Tree

A new chart has been placed at Brigham Young University’s Family History Library containing an extensive research of Joseph and Emma Smith’s family tree.
The chart, which is an updated version of the original in Salt Lake City, was collected by Michael Kennedy and printed with the help of BYU’s Computer Science department.
Michael Kennedy, who donated the chart, is a descendant of the prophet and also a member of the Joseph Smith Jr. Family Organization Committee.
Kennedy discovered about his ancestors while writing a genealogy paper in high school. Soon after which he joined The Church and became the first descendent of Joseph Smith to hold the Melchizedek priesthood.
After the death of the prophet, Emma Smith and her children did not join Brigham Young and the pioneers on their journey west. The chart reveals that the descendants have spread throughout the world, including a large population now living in Australia.
Kennedy continues to travel the world with his wife as they search for more descendants.
My wife and I attended a fireside given by Michael Kennedy. He referred to a book he had written. We cannot find it. Please let us know where it can be purchased.

There is a book called The Emma Smith we know : a collection of memories and recipes from Emma, as recalled by her posterity. It was authored by Darcy Kennedy.
We have the book here at the library but can be purchased at the BYU Bookstore or Deseret Book.
I’m a descendant of Joseph Smith”s 1st cousin and am related to David Shakespeare also. I’m related to the Moon,Hale,Gilbert,Hathaway,Smith,Smyth,Cook,Lincoln,
Cooke,Peters,Brown(e),Kypling,Kipling,and many more families here and there. I have been searching for my birth relatives and past relatives since I was 18 years old. I was adopted when I was 6 1/2 years old. I am 28 going on 29 in September 2009.
Also I’m related to the Hale,Starke,Johnson,Jackson,Watson,Wilson,Green(e),and I can’t remember all the rest off hand. There are people who were royality,owned land, worked for Kings and Queens,and basically were from all over the world.
