The Harold B. Lee Library provides students and faculty access to streaming audio databases offering various genres of music. The collections available include African American Song, Classical Music Library, DRAM – Database of Recorded American Music, and Smithsonian Global Sound. The databases can be found on the Music subject search page (under “Find Articles”), or for access to all collections, visit the following link: Streaming Databases.

These are collections that are streamed over the Internet to anywhere in the world (anywhere with an Internet connection that is). As long as you use your RY ID and password (and are a current student or employee of BYU) you will be able to access these music collections from anywhere.
This is a fantastic post. I am looking forward to sampling the African American and Classical streams.
