First Year Writing
New Happenings in First-Year Writing!
As we begin Fall Semester 2010, we’d like you to know of some new changes going on with Library First-Year Writing
- Daytime Writing and Research Center – Due to the success of our evening Writing and Research Lab, we have partnered once again with BYU’s Writing Center to offer one-on-one Writing and Research assistance. The center is located in the Info Commons on the 3rd (Main) floor of the library by the south windows. It will be open Tues-Thurs, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments can be made at: http://wrlab.lib.byu.edu/
- The SMART tutorial has been updated to reflect the library’s new website and new search tool, SCHOLAR SEARCH. In addition, SMART now contains two new modules – Smart Searching and Eternal Learning. Feel free to take a look at the new tutorial!
