Self-service AV Recording Racks
The Multimedia Dubbing Rack is available in the south-east corner of the Information Commons. It is used to convert media of any format to other formats. Following is a list of abilities that the Rack can do. This equipment is available on a first come/first served basis.

Audio Video Equipment for Check-out
Information Commons digital still and digital video cameras are available for check-out at the Multimedia Lab (Room 3330).
In order to check any equipment out from the Multimedia Lab, you must fill out an electronic equipment loan agreement which establishes your legal rights to the equipment and the procedures that are followed in case of damage.
Your agreement will remain on file for one calendar year and can be filled out and viewed here.
- Cameras can be reserved for up to 3 days
- Equipment training required
- Mini DV cassettes/Compact Flash cards NOT provided
Note: If a reserved item has not been checked out by 1:30 p.m. on the day the reservation begins, the reservation will be canceled and the equipment made available to another patron.
Equipment for in lab use only
Wacom tablets, hard drives, and video capturing equipment is available in the multimedia lab.
Multimedia Lab Computers
The Multimedia Lab has 10 mac pros with OS X Leopard, Windows XP, Adobe Creative Suite 3, and MS Office. Patrons must reserve the computers to use them. To go to the reservations page click here. They may be reserved for up to 5 hours a day. Computer reservations will be lost 15minuets after the hour that the reservation began.
