New Books About Teaching Spelling

“The Oregon Department of Education has announced that it will allow students to use spell check during standardized writing exams for the first time. But only one-quarter of the state’s students will have access to the online writing assessment. Emphasizing the connection between oral language and written language this book looks at solid research that can be taken into practice to develop advanced stages of spelling ability.
