It provides world-class global content, including Dow Jones and Reuters newswires and The Wall Street Journal -in a single service. Factiva’s research products provide a single point of access to a deep archive of news and business information not available on the free Web, allowing users to conduct in-depth research on companies, industries, regional affairs – or any news. Click on the “Companies/Markets” tab at the top of the screen, then click on “Company”, enter the company’s name or ticker symbol, and then choose from the different tabs on the left for a company profile.

Hoover’s
Includes company overview, history, products/operations on more than 18,500 public and private U.S. companies and international companies. Covers major industry trends, industry links, and IPO information. Click on the “Companies” tab at the top of the screen, and enter the company’s name or ticker symbol, and then on the left choose from a number of different tabs for a company profile.

Value Line Research Center
A Financial Investment related database. This database provides independent research and data on companies, and markets to aid investors in making financial decisions. Research is proprietary and comes from Value Line analysts. Graphs and charts on market performance also available. HIstorical quotes from 1997-01-03 are also available. Click on “Plus Edition”, and then under ‘Look Up Company’ enter the company’s name or ticker symbol.

Business and Company Resource Center (Gale)
Indexes public and private company data, including contact names, addresses and telephone numbers, total employees, sales volume and business descriptions. Covers more than 11,000 U.S. & international companies and 53 industries. Click on “Business and Company Resource Center with PROMT and Investext Plus”, click on “Company”, and then enter the company’s name or ticker symbol.

NetAdvantage
Standard & Poor’s NetAdvantage is a comprehensive source of business and investment information, offering on-line access to Standard & Poor�s independent research, data and commentary on stocks, bonds, funds, and industries. Stock Reports Company Profiles Bond Guide Corporation Records Mutual Fund Reports Security Dealers of North America Register of Corporations, Directors & Executives Industry Surveys The Outlook. Click on the “Companies” tab at the top of the screen and under the Select Publication drop down menu choose ‘Stock Reports’, and then enter the company’s name or ticker symbol.

LexisNexis Academic
A full-text database which provides full-text access to national & international news, business, legal, and reference information, including federal & state case law, company financials, state statistics, and accounting, auditing & tax information. Includes Hoover Handbooks Reports, Disclosure and Worldscope Reports, and the S& P Standard Corporate Descriptions. All of these reports provide strategic and financial information of publicly held corporations. Click on “Business”, then click on “Company Profiles”, and then enter the company’s name or ticker symbol.

Business Source Premier (EBSCO)
Provides indexing and abstracts and full text for nearly 2,300 journals in business business, management, economics, finance, banking, and accounting. Full text backfiles as far back as January 1990. Updated daily. Under the ‘Basic Search’ tab click on “Company Profiles”, and then enter the company’s name, and then click on the corresponding “Datamonitor Report”.
