The Occupational Outlook Handbook describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations. Revised every two years.

Vault Online Career Library

Volume 1 covers specific elements of sixty-eight industries and the next three volumes cover specific information on particular jobs and careers. Includes historical information and statistics on current employment and production.

Career Information Center (Print)
HF 5382.5.U5C32 Includes Job summary, profiles, references, web sites, books, employment trends and job outlooks. 13 volumes. The first 12 volumes each focus on a different career area, and contain over 700 job profiles. Each profile includes a job summary chart, a job description, and up-to-date salary information. The 13th volume contains the dictionary of occupational titles, articles with an overview of current employment issues, career opportunities, and outlooks.
