Mission:
Serving as we would like to be served, we bring together our patrons and the information they need.
We assist library patrons by:
- providing trained staff to answer inquiries made in person, by phone, e-mail, IM or TXT at the Information Commons or Periodicals Desk and in our offices
- helping patrons select and use appropriate resources for research
- providing guides to general electronic materials
- facilitating the user’s research process through individual consultations and instruction
- performing searches in remote commercial electronic resources; and
- referring patrons to the appropriate specialized reference desk, subject specialist, or other public service desk.
- teaching instruction sessions to support class requirements and assignments
