Created by the Consotium of European Research Libraries (CERL), the HPB is a catalog of European printing of the hand-press period (c. 1455 - 1830). Indexing is by author, title, imprint, publication year, language, country of publication and location. Some files have copy-specific information including donor and previous owner. Major modern European Languages, Latin and other archaic languages are represented. Updated several times a year.
