February 1850, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Charles Welcome Rockwood
when she was twenty-two years old, and together they had seven children. In
1896, the family moved to Iona, Idaho. In 1914, her husband Charles died. On 3
February 1950, Anna celebrated her 100th birthday, for which she received a
telegram from the President of the United States, Harry S. Truman. Anna
Rockwood died on 2 October 1950. (See biography in the collection.)Contains items belonging to Anna Starr
